How did the song come together?
In March of 2019, I was doing some shows in Asia, and while on the plane ride back home to Amsterdam, I heard the song Con Te Partirò by Andrea Bocelli. Then the idea struck me to rework the track to give it a more electronic, uptempo feel. I was really inspired by this song – I directly started mak...
What inspired it?
It’s a remake of Andrea Bocelli’s all time hit song Con Te Partirò. I’ve always listened to a lot of classical music, especially Andrea Bocelli, but never thought about covering this type of music until March of 2019.
What was the process of making the song like?
We made the song quite quickly as I always really know how I want it to sound before I get into the studio. Last year during ADE 2019 we recorded the vocals and boom! The song was done.
