The dusty bars of the spider’s web
Catch wounded notes as they leave my head
That is how the black widow is fed
On broken melodies
[ ] phosphoresce on the forest ground
[ ] bloom on your baby’s crown
Played soon by weeds and [ ]
Their dust is guaranteed
But time slows down in dreams
And will bring peace to those who ache inside
When we go walking up the hill
And down the other side
The crow's foot stems the lover’s eye
Laid in wisdom teeth, push flesh aside
Even the forbidden groom will be forced to view his bride
Through a veil of memories
An old man shakes beneath the weather vane
Cold coffee mouth full of [ ] [horsemen]
The fire he bartered has been blown by the wind
Which bend his backbone like a tree
But time slows down in dreams
And will bring peace to those who ache inside
When we go walking up the hill
And down the other side
And we go walking up the hill
And down the other side
