[Spoken]
When I was putting together this show - when we were all putting together this show for Carnegie Hall, which is such a great honor, I kept thinking "Oh my God, we've got to do a whole musical show, a whole evening of music." And, um, everyone had an opinion of what I should sing, of course. But one song that kept coming up that everyone wanted to hear, was a song that I think haunts people. And, um, because it's, it comes from a great score, and it's by a great composer, Mr. Jerry Herman.
That experience for me was so terrific. 'Cause I got to work with the brilliant Robert Preston and the fabulous Gower Champion. And the show was "Mack and Mabel" and the role, the role was Mabel Normand.

Time heals everything
Tuesday, Thursday
Time heals everything
April, August
If I'm patient the break will mend
And one fine morning the hurt will end
So make the moments fly
Autumn, winter
I'll forget you by
Next year, some year
Though it's hell that I'm going through
Some Tuesday, Thursday
April, August
Autumn, winter
Next year, some year
Time heals everything
Time heals everything
But loving you
Though it's hell that I'm going through
Some Tuesday, Thursday
April, August
Autumn, winter
Next year, some year
Time heals everything
Time heals everything
But loving you
