Now the question is
What are we gonna do to save the planet
So we can save ourselves from the politics of wealth pulling our train off the tracks
I think the world is ready for someone other than some rich white guys thrown off a shelf
Turning our 3 steps forward into 15 steps back
Will the tools we leave our children be enough for the hardships to come
While we feed them digital fiber optic fantasy to the size of this fund
It's about time for a dial up
A chat beneath thе low hanging fruit like the thousand lies that gеrbil told us that would one day
Become the truth is enough to make your blood boil
All that talk and the practice of swimming won't save none of us from that flood
Or give us any air when the roof is on fire and the foundation burns out all at once
No easy answers and no way out from the beneath the heel of derilytic power
When the leaders just want more for them and theres and tearing each other down as protocol
To prove to us that their way is better than their competitions way which reeks of harm and
Suffering unseen
Politics today is enough to make you scream cuz they take the money and run for office
Always partisan, always neck deep in the art of taking sides
Just to justify the colonizers race and class laws revised and reapplied
With drone protocols big brother and the fear of death from above closing the distance
And never quite bridging the gap
Automated drive throughs and animated blind fools
Broken systems that hide the tools in plain sight is enough to make you wanna fight
Everything about this dystopian state could pass for science fiction made of loss privacy
And pavlov's bell in the form of the jones'
You know, the ones that always seem to have it all
Blocking our roads full of empty obstacles full of short term highs and extended 21st century
Lows
It makes you wonder how will today's kids fair in a tomorrow full of algorithm's and social links
A planet with no trees
Evolution making its own way back even after the neglect of its elders
We left them for dead, right?
It's now time for some new conflict resolution and some forward thinking resolutions
Otherwise we are leaving our children at the edge of a dark field
With nothing more than a smartphone and a bucnife
And today's dreamers will have to find their own way out in the wilderness
