For the sweet, sensitive souls
Who uncover life's
Cruel hoax is really to not
Succumb to the bitterness
You know, that usually accompanies
This discovery
Yeah, I find spiritual practice is, of course
The best defense, you know
Prayer, meditation, stillness
I have known so many brilliantly
Talented geniuses who use their
Own intellect against themselves
You know, like the thorns of a rose
Growing inward on itself
