I will show you this place where I like to climb
See the paper mill, it’s the worst sign of times
Up in Bellingham Bay where we’d all get drunk
Smash forty ounces for the best of luck

Let me show you this creek where we used to swim
The first day of summer you throw a watermelon in
And off of the cliff watch it break on the rock
Take a running jump in the big sea, plop

And that place was perfect but I left it behind
For new ocean waves and buildings to climb
And new friends to call with old storiеs to tell
And sandy white beachеs all covered with shells
