The time I went to Japan.

Story time:
I was 6, visiting my family who lives in Japan, I’m from England, and I’m Chinese & Hawaiian, and British. anyway let me continue. I was playing alone on the porch outside in the back. I saw a tall, strange, figure by the fence, I could mostly only see a sun hat, I just thought the hat was on the fence, mistakenly I was wrong, I ran into the kitchen scared, my grandma (bachang) told me to stay calm, she told me, “There is a spirit going around ‘killing’ or abducting you children from ages 3 - 17. My grandfather came into the room with a woman who looked like a lady from a bone dance. But more so, she looked like a witch. The lady told me, “stay inside the room until 7:30 am, no matter what you hear, see, or smell (yep she said that) DO NOT, OPEN THE DOOR!!” I nodded in confusion. Before leaving me alone, she put salt bowls in 4 corners, she put a Buda statue in the middle, I’m not Buddhist, I’m Catholic. She gave me a piece of parchment with writing on there. I heard the outside noises, all I heard was “Po.....Po............Po.......” I read my manga trying to forget the noises. Popo, means ‘Grandma’ in Chinese. I heard the voice of my grandmother, it said.., “Hey, if you’re that scared, go ahead and open the door!” I was about to open it hesitant, I stopped, I heard ‘po...po’ again, I started praying more!! The salt turned black, then it turned 7:30 am. I rushed out the door to my grandparents, we left because my grandma told me to. I never have seen my grandparents since I was 6. Also, I couldn’t look out the window when driving too the airport, I kept my head down, I didn’t know why.
