And the grasses are withering away
The crops in the fields will be failing
The trees in the great forests are few
And soon there will be no green thing
Life is failing from the seas
The lakes are all dead or dry
The once fresh rivers are foul
And the plentiful fish are dying, dying
The rich and the needy will thirst
As the water becomes more defiled
There will be nothing that's clean to drink
For those who break the laws of nature
