The Pearl that I am

Glance to ocean
I breathe it in and soak the high
As I look into the horizon
I take it all before the rising tide
Swallows my glow
And creates a lantern for the Mariana floor
Down where they say
“28 becomes the new rare age”

One foot in
The golden seas turn green
My eyes open
To the waves that crash harder than the shore
