No one will find you here. You don't know what has drawn you to this place. But you need to be done fighting it. You've been so lost in this muggy-ass swamp you can't see straight anymore. Every step you make, each footstep in the mud, releases some foul sulfuric stench. Everything is starting to look the same to you. You know once you heard that carousel in the distance, it was all over. You knew it. Your time was short. People you grew up with not being around anymore. Your family dying. Working your ass off to just barely make it by. Just knowing there could be anything waiting in the lagoon. Ready to grab your ankles, pull you into the muck water. Let's bring it on. You've lost count of how many mosquitoes and flies have been attacking your eyelids trying to keep your eyes open. Because you don't want to see what they're trying to show you. Don't fight it.
