This song is about the fatal beating of Narbonne High School student Shazeb Andleeb which took place in Los Angeles, May, 1995. Apparently he was punched, kicked and stomped to death for disrespecting a tagging crew from his school. In October 1996, two of his attackers were found guilty.
See here...
And on this smoggy day
He tried to make his way
But odds were six to one
He had no chance to fight
He ascended into light
Light brighter than the sun
Did you almost feel the pain?
It will never be the same again
The desecration of this glebe
He came from Pakistan
All the way to the halls of Narbonne
This is the last stand of Shazeb Andleeb
He had no chance to fight
He ascended into light
Light brighter than the sun
Did you almost feel the pain?
It will never be the same again
The desecration of this glebe
He came from Pakistan
All the way to the halls of Narbonne
This is the last stand of Shazeb Andleeb
