The Lantern Sways

This idle place
I am freezing
Hideaway
The fires dying

Your eyes don't say
What your you're feeling
Mask your face

My spine pertains
Unpleasant strains
The blue from my veins
The lantern sways

Then the clock rewinds
I wake up with nothing in mind
Crude shape of my mask once again it fits nice
I can feel it creeping and there's no way out
Run away from the hand that could bring you back

Falling falling in flowers and tumble around
Smell of ice and phosgene surrounds my sound
Wings extend I'll never hit the ground
Wings extend I'm unbound

But the gust starts to dwindlе
The stars lose their twinklе
Become hypnotized by the shine of the sickles

Sweet smells entice me
Forbidden fruit pulls me
Closer and closer
Just a little closer
Shedding my skin
Falling winds
Deep within
Endless pit
I begin to sink
Down
