THE HORSE
Well I’ve traveled many roads
Trying to lose me with my horse
I’ve buried many friends and many dog friends
When I got new friends, had to bury them again
And you’d be old by now, so old
If I could see your ghost…
But even the ghosts have forgotten me
I wake up in the morning
And I’m glad I’m not in Hell
My parrot’s out of stories from other lands
Things have gotten worse
And I’ve always escaped
Night is bright, it could be right now
I need hyppotherapy...
As long as the horse follows me
I’ll never make it on my own
We’ll go as far as hе wants
So I get down to walk by his side (I close my еyes)
I try and I try to just feel the power
That we both want to keep on riding
But when I look, obviously...
The horse don’t follow me
The horse don’t follow me
The horse don’t follow me
