The girl in my life is rare to behold
She  is not fat, not skinny and she's not old
The  girl in my life goes to work in town
And we go together and lie down

This striking female, this singular lover of the summer sun
Induces  me to laugh awhile, even to make rude fun

Though  her teeth are sharp and her tongue is barbed
She does not give a thought about life or love
Or  subtlety or kissing in the dark or nights alone
