[Verse 1]
I've been cold like Colorado
On my own, a lonely child
Bloody nose and a smile
Oh my friend, it’s been a while
But here I am, I am, I am
[Chorus]
Take me home where the garden grows
On the hill filled with yellow rose
Far from the city where people are shitty
'Cause I can be anyone up here
[Verse 2]
Shaky bones, an empty bottle
Who is there come tomorrow?
Silver skin, what do I know?
Is this my pill to swallow?
But here I am, I am, I am
[Chorus]
Take me home where the garden grows
On the hill filled with yellow rose
Far from the city where people are shitty
'Cause I can be anyone up here
So take me home where the fallen go
On the hill with swimming pools of gold
Far from the city where people are shitty
'cause we can be anyone up here
[Bridge]
We can be anyone up here
We can be anybody
We can be anyone up here
We can be anybody
[Outro]
So here I am, I am, I am
So here I am, I am, I am
Miki Ratsula released the garden on Fri Mar 25 2022.
This is the most ambiguous song on the album. I wrote it from the perspective of struggling with mental health and wanting to find a place of peace finally. However, it can be interpreted in many ways, and that’s what I love so much about it.
