The Ending of Halo 3

You said it takes one to know one
But I don't really know anyone else
So I guess it takes a whole lot out of me

I didn't see real sunlight for
Almost an entire month
But I still got burned from
Staring at my home screen

Now I'm somewhere in between
Unwillingness and uncertainty
I can't be what you expect of me
Because I'm just too fucking lazy

I've got plans I haven't canceled
But I probably won't show up
I'm too afraid of confrontation
Conversations about growing the fuck up

Now I feel like Master Chief
During the ending of Halo 3
Not knowing where I'm going
Where it's so easy

Now I'm somewhere in between
Reluctance and anxiety
I just want to go back to sleep
