We walked what felt like years in search of water
Feeling naive following maps that strangers had drawn us
Nearly died by following three friends dressed as marauders to near the border
That took us through the land filled with bones of those they had slaughtered
Remember what they taught us
Kept the blades never rusty
Walked through towns of people eager to rush never trusty
Peddle wares and traded labour to maidens that's busty
Heard rumors of a forest land mystic that's up stream
To cross the dangerous river you need a boat
Not an ark
Sold tomatoes a means to make the vessel float
Always taking part in gambling and rolling dice
And always winning in the end never folding twice
Hot at day cold at night but we move on
We keep the cruise strong travelling by horseback
Now with weapons screwed on

Fighting to eat in the desert where the tunes go
