Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe
Help to make the season bright
Tiny little tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight

Cause they know that Santa's on his way
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh
And every mother's child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer really know how to fly

And so I'm offering this simple phrase
From kids to one to ninety-two
Although it's been said many times
Many ways, Merry Christmas to you

I'm spreading some holiday cheer

You can feel as though you can be pleasant towards you're fellows
Man to woman
Because you're anticipating a gift, right?
But here's a trick or a catch or just a fact
Everyday life is a gift

Is another day that you have to be thankful for
But being that it is like..ha..ha..
You hear those little footsteps
You see those little [?]
That they're peeping
They're tryna see what's that ruckus
They know that you're in cahoots with that man
You might be rapping their gifts
But they're thinking hmph..
