If you and me
Dried up the sea
The mermaid, we would wake her
We'd dance along, and all the salt
Could fill a zillion shakers
Still the beach gets cold, at night
And though the winds are so alive
They don't blow
Sand in my eyes
The ocean's all gone dry
Surprise, and no you're not so wise
But still you tantalize
With those seductive eyes
And soon you will revise
The conversation size
And so I have sermised
Are we men or are we mice?
The seagulls will not fly
I recall
Remember when
Oh I do not forget
Says this on the license plates
In the province of quebec
Still they must forget, sometimes
It can't all fit inside, their minds
Though I'm sure, their brains are fine
At least as good as mine
To find, the thoughts as sweet as wine
That burn like turpentine
A lone like porcupine
We won't touch cause of spines
A violent valentine
You crossed the dotted line
The same place where you sign
A simple x is fine
