I wanna share something, real briefly, with you, that I think is very important, because there's a lot of it happening lately. Uh, it's in the area of judgment. It's in the area of division, really, in the Church and the body of Christ. And, uh, you know, the thing to realize, that each one of us here, as Christians, are fighting a battle. We're fighting it together. We're on the same team.

But often, we're so busy--you know, we're supposed to arm ourselves with the armor that, that, uh, Paul instructs us to put on to fight the battle. But so often, we're forging ahead, fighting the battle, and where are the--where are the stab wounds coming from? They're coming from behind. We talk about somebody, we find out that somebody's backslidden, so what's the first thing that we do, instead of going to them, scripturally? We go, and we tell another little group about that person. You know, and, and saying that we're just concerned and that we should all pray for them. Pretty soon, it's a, it's a rumor that's going around, you know. We're kicking the person while they're down instead of praying for them and, and asking the Lord to, to really minister to them in a personal way.

And so many times, we walk around just sort of laying out these judgments on people, not realizing that we have a battle, and if we're busy fighting one another while the world is, is literally going to hell, then we've defeated ourselves, and it grieves the spirit of God. We're on the--we're on the same team. I think we need to get on with the work, we need to get on and fight the battle that God wants us to fight. Pray for one another. Lift one another up. Quit this dissension and, and, and the self-righteousness. "Well, that group over there believes this and that. That group over there believes this." Just splitting hairs. Or "He said that." Or "Did you see the way that guy looks? See that kind of music?"

Well, you know, if you can cook unto the Lord, I can play my guitar unto the Lord, too. You can play rock music unto the Lord, believe it or not. Some people don't believe that, but it's true. Because it's the attitude of the heart: living unto the Lord. And if you live unto the Lord, the criticism can come, but you can keep trucking. Because there's Pharisees in the world, face it. They're still here. They're still among us. But it's a battle that we can fight together. Because we are one. We're a family. We are an army. We're a team. And we can see victory in our lives if we can get on with the battle and fight together. And that's what this song is all about. It's called "I'm on Your Team."
