They're wrong
You can love the one your heart's with
No matter what you're told about your choice
By any xenophobic hypocrites
Or small-minded misogynists

There are those too slow to get along
Keep twisting their morality with sin
Remember life's too short to waste on them
And we're too smart to just condemn

Why some cling to prejudice and fear

To wash away intolerance
