Time allows the edges to bleed
Tear, and bend

And yet I
Sit still
Slow down
Sell out
Burn my urges
Kill this pointless doubt

Though no longer a blank sheet
Still more or less incomplete

Tell me which impulse I should
Follow, down low, I know
That there is no tomorrow

My silence heightens memories
I’ve thrown away the keys
To deal with as you please

Though I’ll never go away
