Like a shot fired from above
A hurricane just cleared the air
Sent waters crashing at the bridge

Terror kept us shaking, but it was something to behold
Standing at the gash there in the road
It was a perfect place

It was magic, but I knew it couldn't last

This feeling's familiar, but it's colder than before
Sleeping in the hills above our home
