[Verse 1]
Just like my mantel piece
I stare at when I wake
I wanna rearrange
My whole life
Fuck with the energy
I cry and light some sage
I burn a diary page
The blue light
[Pre-Chorus]
(Ooh) Just because things are changing for me
Doesn't mean it will change us
(Ooh) Don't you know there are hundreds
Of ways we can make love
[Chorus]
Baby, we can switch
However you wish
Push and pull positions
Dominant, submission
Baby, we can switch
However you wish
Push and pull positions
Flipping our traditions
[Post-Chorus]
Baby, we can switch (Switch)
Baby, we can switch (Switch)
[Verse 2]
We might be shifting shapes
And now you’re coming back
Oh, for heaven's sake (Oh, for heaven's sake)
We’re still real?
I learnt to miss your face
When the house was empty
And now you’re missing me (And now you’re missing me)
How does it feel?
[Pre-Chorus]
(Ooh) Just because things are changing for me Doesn't mean it will change us (Doesn't mean it can change us, you know)
(Ooh) Don't you know there are hundreds
Of ways we can make love
[Chorus]
Baby, we can switch
However you wish
Push and pull positions
Dominant, submission
Baby, we can switch
However you wish
Push and pull positions
Flipping our traditions
[Post-Chorus]
Baby, we can switch (Switch)
Baby, we can switch (Switch)
Oh, again
Baby, we can switch (Switch)
Switch, switch, switch, switch
Baby, we can switch (Switch)
Switch, switch, switch, switch
(I'm so hot right now, switch, switch, switch)
[Outro]
Baby, we can switch
However you wish
Push and pull positions
Dominant, submission
Baby, we can switch
However you wish
Push and pull positions
Flipping our traditions
Baby, we can switch

Switching things up is hot and we don’t talk about it enough. Why must we be defined as one role in a relationship or personality type?

This song was written the first time I worked with Justin [Tranter]. It felt like things were aligning for me, and I felt a sort of switch personally that I had become the artist I envisioned I’d become as a 17-year-old. I just said, ‘I feel like things are really switching up for me.’ I knew that ‘...
