When I first saw her
She was in the ocean
Her silver hair
Was following the motion
Of the water and waves
And the wind was blowing
While her body and breath
Were making waves of their own
I said
Duh in duh doh doh in duh in doh doh
"I'm going swimming too,"
I said
Duh in duh doh doh in duh in doh doh
"'Cause I wanna swim with you."
The water was cold
It was silver and gray
And when I started to swim
She started swimming away
Then she gathered the waves up
And wrapped them around her
I looked into the waves
And that's where I found her
I said
Duh in duh doh doh in duh in doh doh
"I'm coming swimming too,"
I said
Duh in duh doh doh in duh in doh doh
"'Causе I wanna swim with you."
Then she grabbed my hand
And pullеd me under the water
And we plunged even further
With my arm 'round her shoulder
Till not even the curious
Fish could've found us
Hidden deep in the waves
With coral around us
I said
Duh in duh doh doh in duh in doh doh
"I'm glad that I came swimming too,"
I said
Duh in duh doh doh in duh in doh doh
"'Cause I wanted to swim with you."
And she said
Duh in duh doh doh
Duh in na doh
"I'm glad that you came swimming too."
