Awh now this is a good one. This is in my old house in Spring Hill
Yeah. The phase when um-
-We had no money so, Andrew had to fly up to Brisbane
Yes. This one came from my dad’s camera. Wide-angle lens
That’s [?]-
-On the broomstick, yep
To anyone who sees the extras will see my video walkthrough, that rehearsal room, 1994. Matthew Strong [?]
Yeah. So this is like, yeah a cheap idea, shoot it on video-
-Paul Medew driving his own car
Yeah, Brisbane classic... old car- what- what was that? Was it uh, a [?]- no
I think it’s a Hillman Super Minx
A Hillman, yeah
Um, yeah we just shot some stuff around Brisbane, um-
-Fish-eye. That’s Dylan, my brother getting in the car. Before that was Nick Norton
Yep
D: At the international hotel
Is Nick in there?
Yeah he’s in the back of the car-
-The back of the car. And um-
-That’s like uh, coming up to the Story Bridge. There it is
Yeah, this uhhh, [?]-
We’re in [?]’s dad’s car here, aren’t we?
Yeah, I think so yeah. He’s driving us around. We didn’t have permission to do any of this and I remember I had my dad’s uh... video High 8 camera-
I don’t think- ah that's my backyard. And there I’m in my pajamas. I wish I still had that guitar. Yeah that’s uh a hundred and something-
Where is it?
That’s in Milton, where I lived with Maureen next to the bowling
Ah yeah. So this is the Hilton-
-That’s the Hilton-
-In Brisbane. No permission so this may find Matthew and the idea came from um-
-Was it camera on a stick?
Aw no, I just think it was- I don’t think it had a stick. This was um- I remember I went to this hotel. And uh, I think-
At the Hilton?
Yeah just going there and getting into this lift. And loving this lift so I wanted to make Matthew-
-It is a lovely lift, look at that
Yeah, it was a great shot, it sorta-
-[?]
And then every time I go to Brisbane, if I’m near that thing I’ll take a ride in that lift 'cause I- I liked the shot- I like the guy on the other side doing that shot
[Dave’s Song]
That’s a good one, I like that one. What- how much did it cost you?
Uh, nothing. I think Nash- I gave all the rushes to Nash and he edited it all together on his PC-
-This is my old house yeah, it looks very boring. I like this song. Chicks dig me
I- I don’t know what it’s about. What’s that- what’s he saying?
Saying “I’m so sexy that you can’t get me”
