Stormbreaker

A many stories have been told about a mighty crew
One that claimed so many honest souls and ripped port towns in two
Not a soul alive could sail in peace as this Storm roamed the sea
When thunder rose and lightning flared you knew that you would never be free

As a prideful people stood together against a tyrant’s power
The Storm descended on them and attempted to devour
All our sons and fathers, mums and daughters till nothing remained
As their plan began to blossom they hеard cries among the rain

Ohh! Ohh! Their shouts carriеd on the wind
Ohh! Ohh! The smoke rose from hell within
Ohh! Ohh! Their hope taken there and then
The ones who said they’d ensure their safety had left them all for dead

When the crew prepared to take the town, collect a kingsman’s share
The seas began to quiver and a chill came in the air
Their ship began to shiver then the clouds began to part
As if the gods above replied they would no longer steel their hearts

A whirlpool summoned by the will of a Warrior
A treasure returning to settle her own score
Then down from a blinding white pillar shining bright
Came forth a giantsword an embodiment of Might

Ohh! Ohh! And their will descended down
Ohh! Ohh! With a resonating sound
Ohh! Ohh! A demon’s crew against our band
A group of heroes rose above they’d taken justice into their hands

And all through the night
Where the lighting did strike
And the thunder rolled, rain it poured on went their fight
Taking down the right hand
Downing every last man
Till the captain herself was taken by none other than

The one that they thought got away
Now stood face to face swords to chests a debt to pay
The Mistwalker cried, “You’ll never be rid of me,”
Her final command as she fell into her grave

Ohh! Ohh! Thus the heroes they returned
Ohh! Ohh! A warm welcome they had earned
Ohh! Ohh! They had cleared the crimson skies
When hope was lost they took it back from the cruelest jaws of night

Ohh! Ohh! And the people did rejoice
Ohh! Ohh! Heard through each and every voice
Ohh! Ohh! Faith restored to their own hands
They’d never let another no matter their goal no matter the toll lay claim to their land
