[Verse 1]
Don't I look so nice?
I've been waiting all my life
For this moment to arrive
I sold my Sunday best
Just to slip into this dress
[Pre-Chorus]
Have you seen my face? The look in my eyes?
Do whatever it takes, I'll die for it
[Chorus]
I wanna burn this house to the ground
After playing with fire
I wanna burn this map of the stars
Now I'm on fire
[Verse 2]
I spend all night
In the hills without a view
Dancing the soles right off my shoes
Like only a wedding band could do
[Pre-Chorus]
Have you seen my face? The look in my eyes?
Do whatever it takes, I'll die for it
[Chorus]
I wanna burn this house to the ground
After playing with fire
I wanna burn this map of the stars
Now I'm on fire
[Post-Chorus]
I'll die for it
I'll die for it
[Bridge]
Can you feel the heat?
The flames are chasing me, oh
Can you feel the heat?
The flames are chasing me, oh
[Chorus]
I wanna burn this house to the ground
After playing with fire
I wanna burn this map of the stars
Now I'm on fire
I wanna burn this house to the ground
After playing with fire
I wanna burn this map of the stars
Now I'm on fire
[Outro]
I'll die for it

Star Maps was produced by Yves Rothman.
On an interview with Paper Magazine, Aly & AJ talked about the song’s origin and meaning:
We wrote this song in 2017 when the Harvey Weinstein story broke as an ode to the #MeToo movement. We felt we needed to write a revenge song for the innocent victims of Hollywood’s abusers.
