Sparrow

Now my tomorrows are free with the sparrow
They fly all about in the sunlight fresh morn
Now I escape from a longing well tattered
Thrown off and shattered, and now I am born

Show me a dreamer with visions untainted
Though he may live under minds that are narrow
See how he looks beyond all the reaches
Show me that man, I'll show you the sparrow

And now he has taken the winter's dark shadow
And now he is giving a soft warming spring

One shining morning, I looked to the window
The colors were dancing, a light show of day
There on the sill sat one tiny sparrow
Brilliant and fragilе in sunlight's array
