“Sky” was commissioned as the theme for the upcoming Norwegian documentary series “Stemmene i hodet”, that showcases one year in the life of three young people diagnosed with schizophrenia.
[Verse 1]
What they tell us, about this
It's only feelings, don't listen
It's only in your head, don't fear them
It's only in your head, don't be them
[Pre-Chorus]
But they will not tell us how to sail in our seas,
This weather is tearing us down,
But one of these days, it will calm down
[Chorus]
Ooo, the storm will soon be over
Ooo, and we will all stand taller
[?] over a calm sea
I lean on you, now you lean on me
Ooo, I think the storm is over
[Verse 2]
Hold it in, don't fall apart now
The world hasn't got time for figuring you out
It's like you're on the outside looking in
Looking at what could've been
And they're miles apart, they're miles apart
[Pre-Chorus]
But they will not tell us how to sail in our seas,
this weather is tearing us down,
but one of these days, it will calm down
[Chorus]
Ooo, the storm will soon be over
Ooo, and we will all stand taller
[?] over a calm sea
I lean on you, now you lean on me
Ooo, I think the storm is over
[Bridge]
We are only boats floating under the same sky,
Drifting into one another once in a while
We are only boats floating under the same sky,
Drifting into one another once in a while
[Chorus]
Ooo, the storm will soon be over
Ooo, and we will all stand taller
[?] over a calm sea
I lean on you, now you lean on me
Ooo, I think the storm is over
[Outro]
We are only boats floating under the same sky
