[Intro: LTC, Briggs]
It ain’t ‘skip hop’, I don’t double dutch
Couldn’t give a fuck about what another sucker does
Yeah, it’s bigger than
Skip hop
Stereotypes ain’t fittin’ it, [?]
Skip hop
Ay, are you listening?
Yeah, it’s bigger than
Skip hop
Stereotypes ain’t fittin’ it, [?]
Skip hop
Man, are you listening?
[Verse 1: Hau]
It’s bigger than lyrical brilliance
A citizen’s public opinion
It’s bigger than fittin’ in the book
Where so called “rules” are written in
With a car load, travelled the hard road
Over bitumen, [?]
You could picture them (Woo, woo)
And the music industry try to sit you in that sitch again
Nah, we ain’t livin’ in (Where, man?)
The еighties and nineties, trying to dеny me
My point no different, nah not this shit again
Quit it, man, trying to box me in
But I got quicker hands (Woo)
Two up, baby (Tell ‘em, buddy)
It’s come full circle like two one-eighties (Tell ‘em, buddy)
All you trying to do is move independently
And show and prove that you aren’t crazy
[Chorus: LTC]
They wanna pin me to the train tracks
I don’t wanna play that game
When you carry that hate prolly’ better stay away
‘Cause I gotta lotta heart, and I gotta lot more to say
Hey-yeah
Yeah, it’s bigger than
(Skip hop)
I don’t think you understand
It’s way bigger than
(Skip hop)
Scale of one to ten
Numbers always [?]
(Skip hop)
I don’t think you’re listening
Yeah, no, it’s bigger than
(Skip hop)
Hey-yeah
[Verse 2: Hau]
It’s bigger than
Any label they gave you that made you cringe
Every single time they would
Hmm, categorise you and downsize you more if they could
But you remain faithful and stay true
When it came to the act that paid you, Jesus
And I salute you, pour me a Grey Goose (Hey, hey, hey, hey)
Cheers to the fears that we wipe away
And the issues that we bring into the light of day
Always keep your head up no matter what type of day
And get along with no slight delay, might I say
We built this city
But not on rock ‘n’ roll, no not at all
We turned up and got busy (Hell yeah, we got busy)
With two turntables and a microphone
We earned our stripes and broke down barricades like [?]
And broke the hoods out like we came from Adelaide
Accolades and money, milk and honey
Still make something you can take all that from me
Got a pot to piss in and a window to throw it out of
Like bottled ideas with no power
Above my head like a bowler hat
It takes a nation of millions to hold us back, so just
[Chorus (Extended): LTC]
They wanna pin me to the train tracks
I don’t wanna play that game (Hey, hey)
When you carry that hate prolly’ better stay away
‘Cause I gotta lotta heart, and I gotta lot more to say (Hey, hey)
Wanna pin me to the train tracks
I don’t wanna play that game (Hey, hey)
When you carry that hate prolly’ better stay away
‘Cause I gotta lotta heart, and I gotta lot more to say
Hey-yeah
Yeah, it’s bigger than
(Skip hop)
I don’t think you understand
It’s way bigger than (Hey, hey)
(Skip hop)
Scale of one to ten
Numbers always [?]
(Skip hop)
I don’t think you’re listening
Yeah, no, it’s bigger than (Hey, hey)
(Skip hop)
Hey-yeah
Yeah it’s bigger than
[Outro: LTC]
(Skip hop)
(Skip hop)
(Skip hop)
Hauie beast, huh
And that LTC, huh
(Skip hop)
What you gotta get it wrong for?
Get it right next time or we’ll put you in another one

I wanted to express how I was feeling about labelling local hip hop as ‘skip hop’. I really dislike that term. As with ‘Aussie hip hop’. Cringe-worthy. There are too many scenes, too many sounds and most importantly, too many artists with different cultural backgrounds to simply categorise it as ‘sk...
