Track #9 on Feist’s second solo album Let It Die. This refers to the Canadian version of the album released on Arts & Crafts. The US/UK & Australian versions released on Interscope, as well as the deluxe edition released in 2008, feature this song as track #8.
[Verse 1]
Secret heart, what are you made of?
What are you so afraid of?
Could it be three simple words?
Or the fear of being overheard?
What's wrong?
[Refrain]
Let him in on your secret heart
[Verse 2]
Secret heart, why so mysterious?
Why so sacred? Why so serious?
Maybe you're just acting tough
Maybe you're just not man enough
What's wrong?
[Refrain]
Let him in on your secret heart
[Bridge]
This very secret that you're trying to conceal
Is the very same one you're dying to reveal
Go tell her how you feel
[Verse 3]
Secret heart come out and share it
This loneliness, few can bear it
Could it have something to do with
Admitting that you just can't go through it alone?
[Refrain]
Let him in on your secret heart
[Bridge]
This very secret that you're trying to conceal
Is the very same one you're dying to reveal
Go tell him how you feel
[Outro]
This very secret heart
Go out and share it
This very secret heart

Similar to the error just fixed in the lyrics where it read “Maybe you’re just not bad enough” instead of ‘man’ enough, your statement is correct. I imagine this is due to the song being a cover, I wonder if the original uses ‘her’ instead of ‘him’.
