Listen to me, please, I hate to open with this news/
But I'm not just not one you've seen without those rosy tinted hues/
The truth, I'm holding with a spoon.. I'm no knight in shining armor/
I don't dive inside the darkness, you won't cry goodbye on harbors/
And no tears for the dearly departed, never existed/
I've been so weird in the fear of the awkward tension that's building/
The ceiling feels so low, and the spacing out is permanent/
The waning sounds of words you spent are racing out the firmament/
I'm sure you meant well, I turn deaf and blind on a dime/
With nickel plated skin I doll her up to hide her inside/
I find a good time in excess, this scumbag only holds sewage/
Skull inside the clouds, the sky, headbutt a brand new hole through it/
So I can hibernate, draped in vines that hide the state/
Of mental wellness, never felt this place, slide out and drive away/
Behind me, off the lot Ferrari's, crash, jam packing the ditches/
As this arsonist takes his shelter at more flammable bridges/
