The machinations we've made
Keep track of all that you've lost and saved
And take a look at all who're clad in scars
That open up to you
Do you laugh
At just the lengths that you've gone to cry?
And if it is the way that I fear
You've gone away
Where I'd say
You're beholden to someone else
The will of another over yourself
And you don't even see what you've done
But I don't think you're the one to light this flame
