Some time last year, I had to get a particular surgery done that put me at risk of not being able to have children in the future. What started off as a panic attack after a performance I did, ended with me spending a night in hospital. Like any surgical procedure, there are a lot of risks involved....
(Intro)
Yeah-Yeah
(What they gon say
What he gone say)
Yeah-Yeah
(Verse One)
I pray the lord
Give me something
To say
I’m just searching for
Grey matter, space
Something to say
Something that matters
So my chitter-chatter
Hits the kids after
Our generation
Ain’t no more kids
After education
Student loans equal
To incarceration
Ain’t no heaven for
A gangster when
Hell is vacant
They’ve been waiting
On the world to change
Pardon, my lack of patience
I was in the hospital with
Hella patients
Panic attacked me
Almost hit the pavement
But see I waited
(Bridge)
One minute, two minute
Three hour, four
I think the devil, knocking
At my door
Doctor please say it won’t
Hurt no more
Ah- This an emergency
You gon need to get surgery
Before you lose your
Next kin/Ken like
Barbie burglary
We in a hurry see
We took-
One minute, two minute
Three hour, four
I think the surgeon
Finally at the door
(Hook)
L-Lord give me something
To say, so I can speak
Some more
Speak some more
L-Lord give me something
To say, so I can speak
Some more
Speak some more
L-Land for the people
By the people
But I’m not so sure
Not so sure
L-Land for the people
By the people
But I’m not so sure
Not so sure
Lord give me something
To say, so I can speak
Some more
(Verse Two)
Yeah
I pray we don’t
Give you trouble today
If this, my last breath
I fill it with grace
And then I empty
The tank
On anyone I can thank
For troubled childhoods
Pray that I can find good-
Ness, in all my hoodness
Because they do stress
We born black thugs
With no harmony
Money over everything
My money, she got a black
Best friend saved as my monkey
Watch out for uncle Sam
He got a white aunty
And the lord, gave me
Something to say
I’ve been forgetting to pray
When my daughter finally
Hear’s this, hope the world
More safe
Because my son won’t save you
His son, ain’t save us
Almost saved us
Let the chorus take us
One minute, two minute
Three minute, four
Who ready to go?
(Hook)
L-Lord give me something
To say, so I can speak
Some more
Speak some more x2
L-Land for the people
By the people
But I’m not so sure
Not so sure x2
Lord give me something
To say, so I can speak
Some more
