A fever of memories have held me awake, this night as well
Shadows from the past kept paying me a visit, they won't let go
I though I left them I thought I said farewell
A room with a view was all that I wanted, I had to go

The heat's turned up, my twisted sheets are entangling me
The elevator sighs and creaks, time's moving too slow
