Remember The Romans

In my brain, there's nothing worth knowing
And in my home, there's nothing worth showing

I couldn't believe it, they were after me
They broke into my car with the skeleton key
All the books I had had disappeared
I never let you read and it felt so weird
I lost my chance to study and get good grades

I started college with an open-mind
I had a back pack of the zipper kind
Then one day in autumn, everything changed
The knowledge in my head seemed re-arranged
Remembering the romans and the things that they did
