Reflect

Vast desolate wastelands surround me, re-igniting fear in my mind
Still searching, still hoping that I'll find some trace of life
One which I can cherish and care for and give my life, for nothing is even seen as value to me

Selfishness is the fall of man
Spite to psyche is all I see
These theories, of reason are becoming far too much to handle now
My patience is wearing thin
All reason gone

And as I watch the seasons change
I feel my conscience growing older and
Now that I've experienced the change
I see what we truly need

These city lights remain bright and confounding, as I'm left below, still dull and outstanding, from this lucid dream that some dare to call love
I've found nothing, nothing here
