Rainy Day

It’s a nice cold and rainy day
So chill my problems fade away
All of them dissipate, it’s great
Comfortable in the brain today

Pitter-patter ‘pon the window
Makes me feel like i can chill out
For the first time in a million
Years, like my life is just fixed now

I get up, put on my raincoat
Walk outside, the rain ain’t faint, slow
Can’t bother me, this my fav though
See the clouds, they got the same glow

As my eyes when i stare at the
Darkened sky, and i think after
This walk, i might get the classic
Hot cocoa, look out the glassy

House window to appreciate
The beauty of the sheets of rain
Pouring down on the streets and lanes
Think of the storm as a positive happening, i be the change

Lightning and thunder rolling in
Sound, excitement like bowling pins
Tumbling over, that like all this weather it’s real cold, innit?
Speaking of which now i think of old things i have, my gold mittens

Will come in handy, it’s 40
Fahrenheit but since it’s pouring
Feels colder, but I’m not mourning
C’mon, it great when i’m taking a walk in the rain, feel incredible love for the dark, a lá raven or crow in the storm when they soaring
