“Puddles” is the first single from “Nothing Much Has Changed, I Don’t Feel The Same”, a project conceived during COVID-19 lockdown.
This song is an intimate recollection of days gone by; reminiscent of a simpler time, when new experiences were thrilling, and life as a whole was much less harrowing.
Watch me dance around them puddles
Maybe I can walk on water
Tears really make it better
Hit me with the dash and combo
Sometimes heart heavy, sorrow
But the game still cuts like summer
Us under trees like butter
Spread out knees, new colours
Think of how you said my name
Think of how we both said grace
Followed you down the stairs
Think of where you put your face
Skirt so round like petals
Jeans too tight like metal
Baby so good with the tempo
And you woke up my vеssel
Saying
Watch me dance around thеm puddles
Maybe I can walk on water
Tears really make it better
Hit me with the dash and combo
Sometimes heart heavy, sorrow
But the game still cuts like summer
Us under trees like butter
Spread out knees, new colours
