Hear us, oh Shepherd of Israel
You Who lead Joseph like a flock
You sit and throne between the cherubim
Shine forth before us
Awaken Your might, come and save us

And make Your face shine upon us

Oh, Lord God, how long will Your anger
Smolder against all our prayers
You have fed them bread of tears

For You made us a scorn to our neighbors
