Psalm 16 (Keep Me Safe)

Keep me safe, O Lord, for in you I hide
O-oooh, I said to the Lord, "You are my Lord"

Apart from you, O Lord, I have no good thing
O-oooh, and as for the saints, they are the glorious ones
In whom I delight

Their sorrows will grow and follow other gods
And I will never go with them to sacrifice
And I will never take their names upon my lips

Lord, you are my portion, sure
Inheritance of mine secure
The boundary lines, they fall for me
In pleasant places I can see
How delightful is my lot

I will praise the Lord, the Lord who counsels me
O-oooh, and even at night my heart instructs me in His way

I have set the Lord before me every day
Because He's at my side, I will never be shaken
I will not be moved, with the Lord at my right hand

Before my heart and lips rejoice
My body to a rest secure
For You will lift me from the grave
Your holy one won’t see decay
