The last post box to be emptied in town
Is at the post office behind the central station
I head to post my application for a grant to support me till my next album's done
There's an old fortress further down the street
The wind blows cold but I follow my feet
I want to see the city
Let it remind me again why I once left it
Why I came back again
A man tells me I'm trespassing
Then he giggles and tells me he's only joking
I sleep here sometimes, it's peaceful and nice
Mi casa su casa
Welcome to paradise

The train from Stockholm is on time
A single snowflake falls from the sky
As I leave, he wishes me a merry Christmas
Tell Santa I want the proper address
