[Verse 1]
I'm a ghost in the daylight
On a crowded street
Wanna be part of someone’s dream life
I could murder the fantasy
[Chorus]
In summer town
Where I'd love to watch you drown
Sitting by the poolside (Poolside, poolside)
So kiss me now or I'll blow your brains right out
Sitting by the poolside (Poolside, poolside)
[Verse 2]
Diamonds dancing on the water
Skin is burning on your chest
Sipping on your cold Bacardi, you never know
I could kill you with kindness
[Chorus]
In summer town
Where I’d love to watch you drown
Sitting by the poolside (Poolside, poolside)
So kiss me now or I'll blow your brains right out
Sitting by the poolside (Poolside, poolside)
[Bridge]
'Cause еveryone would see it like
It's just anothеr suicide
Yeah, everyone would see it like
It's just another suicide
[Chorus]
In summer town
Yeah, I'd love to watch you drown
Sinking in the moonlight (Moonlight, moonlight)
Kiss me now or I'll blow your brains right out
Sitting by the poolside (Poolside, poolside)
[Outro]
Sitting by the poolside
Poolside was written by Ant Whiting & Emily Phillips & Gia Ford.
Poolside was produced by Tony Berg.

I imagined a poolboy, disillusioned and angry at the world, and began describing what he felt and saw, working in a well-to-do LA neighbourhood....
