Being the closer of LP’s album Churches, “Poem” is a spoken-word outro that sums up the record’s themes by making references to every track on it.
When asked about how this idea came out, LP told Atwood Magazine:
Poem was the last thing […] I wrote; I had the idea to do something like that, to use...
