Window watching, streets out of shape
And the dust obscures the light
Coloured conversations escape
Only further feed the lie
And it seems like Summer never came and

Come the darkness, come the night

Long the grass has grown over time
So the shade blacks out the trees
Children play at standing in line
And the wind ignores the leaves
As the sparrow rests on broken wings and
