He was looking at me
His eyes never left my face
He seemed a bit excited
I saw him crack a smile
His eyes were growing
Like the tip of a cigarette that's lit
When someone's taking a drag off of it
I shifted my seat
I rearranged my clothes
He asked me "Would you like to..."
And I thought "Ooohhh... ooohhh... ooohhh... yes!"
But instead I said... "Mmhhmm"
We walked to a better spot
We need a little more room
We got real close
It was all a part of my plan
To unhook you
I could smell his neck
It was my first time
So I turned my back to him
I didn't want him to see my facial expressions
I felt these phantom touches
Or maybe they were real
At first we moved slowly
Then it became faster
And then we were in a frenzy
My body started raining
He pushed me away
And then he pulled me closer
His lips touched my earlobes
And he started to speak
That's when the song ended
We pushed past the people
On the dance floor
We made our way back to the table
We sat down
And turned toward the others
And watched and watched and watched and watched and watched
As they talked about the weather
