How did the song come together?
We wrote the song in Stockholm with a bunch of northern friends.
What is the inspiration behind this track?
The beat in its raw form had this summer vibe and we wanted to make a real feel-good song. The word “birthday” kind of slipped between our lips and it felt so right.
What was the process of making the song like?
After the rough demo, it took a long time and we were working on it periodically. We bounced it back and forth with Goldie Foxx and Dyna Mink, refining the production ideas each step of the way.
