Never been the one to run from anyone,
But I can't believe what I'm seeing, is death really creeping?
Trying to catch me while I'm sleeping, in the evening
Scheming, almost saw my soul leaving

From my body, Lord I never hurt nobody
Is it true, does death come for everybody?
I'm in shock, I need some more ticks on my clock
Trying to lock when he knocks and my breathing it stops

I've been caught, trying to tempt fate
Life's on my mind, but death's never late
And I can't escape for what waits on that date
So I pray that I walk on the path that is straight
