I wear underwear, she told me
I hate the word "panties"
I have never worn "panties"
My entire life

I nod my head
I think I understand
But I will never really know
For sure

I wear "boxers"
Until they run out
Then I wear "briefs"
The names of these
Effect me very little during the day
That I'm aware of

I think I like "boxers"
More than "briefs"
As words
Also as underwear
No
I don't think I'd wear "panties" either
Unless that was all I had left
